Once the decoration aspect of the gift is taken care of it is time to shop for the other ingredients. Many local groceries have artisan cheeses and crackers and most even have a selection of fine wines. Other items to include in the basket might be brownies or cookies, cakes and even fresh fruit.
Since not everyone enjoys wine, you could substitute another beverage and make, say, a gourmet coffee gift basket instead.
